This is written in plain language because it should be readable. It describes what actually happens, not what a template says happens.

What this site collects

If you fill in the questions at /start, I receive what you typed: your first name, your business name, your email address, and your answers about how the business runs. Nothing else is collected from that page.

I also record how you arrived — the campaign tags on the link you clicked and the page you landed on. That's how I know which outreach led to a conversation. It's held in your browser for the length of your visit and sent along when you submit.

What I do with it

I read it, and I reply. It reaches me by email through Resend, the service that delivers mail for this domain. If we end up talking, it goes in my notes about that conversation.

I don't sell it. I don't rent it. Answering these questions doesn't sign you up to anything — you'll get one confirmation and then only replies from a person.

Booking a time

The calendar on that page is Calendly. If you book, Calendly receives your name and email to create the meeting, and handles it under their own privacy policy. You can skip the calendar entirely and email me instead.

If you become a client

The assistant I build runs inside your own Claude account, under your own permissions. It isn't hosted by me. That means:

• Your email, files and calendar stay in your accounts.
• I don't hold your passwords, and I don't keep a copy of your data.
• What your assistant can reach is set by you, and you can switch it off.
• Anything you show me during the build, I treat as confidential.

Your Claude account is with Anthropic and is governed by their terms, not mine.

Cold email

If I emailed you first, it's because your business looked like a fit. Every one of those messages says who I am and how to stop them. Ask me to stop and I will, that day, and your address comes off the list rather than being marked and kept.

How long I keep things

Enquiries stay in my email and my notes while the conversation is useful, and are deleted on request. Client records are kept as long as the work and the tax rules require.

Your choices

Write to becky@rigmarketing.ca and ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. I answer these myself, usually within a couple of days.
